Saturday was a bit frustrating Malaise was absolutely travelling waiting for the inside run which come too late, moral beaten. And Amovatio was just plain again with the back markers not getting into the race. 1 unit on each selection tomorrow, cheers RK.

8. BOILING ($8-$8.50) Best price Bet365
Ipswich Race 4
Race Time – 1:43pm

1000m dash here at Ipswich, I have landed on Boiling trained by Dale Murray. She had a monster prep in her latest going 13 starts she won 3 of them and towards the end she was really progressing finishing with a 1.7L 4th in a Bm70 behind some okay form for this. She is fresh here and has previous run good fresh waited well with 54kg will look to push forward and fight them off. Yard and money will tell us a lot more, but I think taking the top tote we might get double figure odds come race time.

5. METSON ($8-$9.50) Best odds Ubet/Sportsbet
Echuca Race 5
Race Time – 2:10pm

Firstly, the top two in the market look the ones to beat but I like how Metson presents here. Won his maiden by 4.3 first start and then was chucked straight into a solid race at Flemington, he then had a few nothing runs but his last two starts in difficult circumstances he really showed some fight. Draws a good barrier here and should be fit 4th start for the prep at 1400m. His record shows 0 from 2 at the trip but they were in a lot harder races then this. Track play is key.

7. NIC’S VENDETTA ($7.5-$8) Best price majority
Canterbury Race 7
Race Time – 4:20pm

Tough gelding who boasts a consistent record having come top 3 17 out of 24 starts. The track condition is going to be crucial tomorrow, he does have heavy form and he is going to need it cause its currently rated a Heavy (9). Racing his consistent self this prep and over the 1200m here looks perfectly suited. Jockey knows him having rode him 8 times, I expect Nic’s Vendetta to go close.
